With the summer fast approaching, i have been seeing more and more plait hairstyles, a quick and easy way to style hair ideal for the hot and sticky weather. There is a variety of styles for short and longer hair and great for a bohemian look.

I found information on how to create this look, good luck.

Part your hair down the center. Beginning on the right side of your part at your forehead, twist a one-inch section of hair away from your face. Use a comb to separate a 1/2-inch section right below the first section along your face and twist that piece away from your face, combining it with the first piece. Continue adding 1/2-inch pieces along your hairline down to your neck. Use a clip or a bobby pin to hold the hair in place at the nape of your neck.

Cheryl Cole was crowned yesterday as best dressed celebrity, beating other celebs such as Victoria Beckham and Rihanna to the top spot. With her recent over exposure in the press Cheryl Cole seems to be unphased on the fashion front. I have selected some of my favorite outfits from the past week let me know what you think of them and whether you think Cheryl Cole deserves to be named best dressed celeb.

Topshop Unique Spring/Summer10

After completing a technical flat project, I became aware of Topshop Unique's new spring/summer catwalk. I really like the burst of brights and unusual fabric choices.With last seasons grunge theme continuing into spring 2010. There was aspects of washed out denim but also slouched silhouettes. I also like the collaboration of messy up hair styles with hot pink lips with a careless feminine feel.
