Lily allen is quitting music for fashion

Lily Allen has confirmed that she will be taking time out of her music career to concentrate on fashion, she is due to open a new boutique with her sister, called 'lucy in disguise' as well as buying clothes you can also rent or hire the clothes as a way of making quality clothes more affordable but also helping the environment.

Homeless Teens design Street Style.

Young designers are gearing up to show their hard work in Cardiff on one of their biggest catwalks this year. What makes this catwalk so different to others is that it features the designs of a group of talented homeless teenagers.

The Collection is said to be inspired by street style and is named ' Fluorescent Adolescent'. This will be ran by a charity which gives troubled teens a chance to get on the right tracks.

Im looking forward to seeing what the collection looks like and if any celebrities will be turning up!

It will take place in wales on december the 6th with an expected audience of 1000.

Vivienne Westwood new collection for Selfridges

Selfridges kicked off a 'Garage Fashion' movement last week by hosting a catwalk show for Westwoods new Anglomania collection, which was the first in the United Kingdom and was held in the Selfridges & co Carpark, celebrity guests included, Florence Welch of Florence and The Machine, Little Boots, Sadie Frost, Girls Aloud’s Nicola Roberts and Rosemary Ferguson. Vivienne Westwood sat front row with her partner during the show rather than fussing back stage.

The collection included a mix of Naive tribal prints and Batiks, and in true Vivienne westwood style lots of colour, humour and political digs.

The event marked the opening of Selfridges new Anglomania Concept, where the current Autumn and Winter collections are already on sale with jersey dresses from £185 and Skirts ranging from £149.

These are my recent patterns which were made for the Style sight competition. I chose heritage as the theme for these designs and got inspiration from photos I took of wallpaper motifs and light fittings.
